Free! Eternal Summer

The second summer arrives with a familiar swimming club, old friendships, and the pressure of deciding what comes after school. Free! Eternal Summer uses its 13-episode TV format to balance comedy with coming-of-age concerns, following a mostly male cast whose relationships carry as much weight as their races. Childhood friends bring history to the club dynamic, while the color-coded presentation and bishounen styling give the series a polished, immediately recognizable identity. The story stays accessible even when emotions run high: training, competition, loyalty, and future plans provide a clear path through the season. Animation Do and Kyoto Animation produced this 2014 entry, and the 7.6 score suits its blend of attractive character animation, friendly banter, and earnest sports drama. Expect a character-focused swim series where the pool is a meeting point for ambition, memory, and change.
