Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san 2

Returning to the quiet coastal countryside for a second season, this Shin-Ei Animation production continues to chronicle the endlessly entertaining dynamic between a middle-school boy and the girl who loves to tease him. Airing in the summer of 2019 across 12 episodes, the series thrives on its episodic structure and sharp, dialogue-driven comedy. The core appeal remains the daily battle of wits: Takagi sees right through Nishikata's every scheme, leaving him flustered yet determined to strike back. What makes this continuation so effective is how the relaxing rural setting amplifies the charm of the ensemble cast. The pacing is comfortable, making it a perfect breezy watch. Earning an impressive 8.1 score, the anime delivers consistent laughs while subtly deepening the unspoken bond between its leads.
