Love Live! Superstar!!

Starting a school idol club from scratch is a daunting task, especially when your high school has almost no students. Sunrise brings this exact scenario to life in their 2021 TV anime, scoring a solid 7.8. The story follows a small, dedicated group of girls who are determined to save their beloved school by forming an idol group. The series shines through its ensemble cast and genuinely funny comedy, balancing heartfelt moments with the sheer determination of its characters. While the 3D CG animation is heavily used for the dancing sequences, the traditional 2D animation remains expressive and full of personality. It perfectly captures the "cute girls doing cute things" vibe while delivering a satisfying underdog story about chasing dreams. Fans of high school clubs and musical performances will find a highly entertaining show that earns its emotional beats through strong character dynamics and energetic choreography.
