A Record Of Mortal's Journey To Immortality 5th Season

A mortal’s pursuit of immortality remains the central promise of this fifth-season continuation, which pairs historical-fantasy flavor with martial-arts action and an adventurous journey. As an ONA planned for 52 episodes in Spring 2026, it offers a substantial run for viewers who enjoy long-form Chinese animation rather than a short seasonal visit. The 9.7 score points to an especially strong reception, while the ongoing status means the full shape of this season is still unfolding. Original Force and Wonder Cat Animation share production duties, giving the series a clear place within contemporary Chinese animation. Expect a commitment-heavy watch built around fantasy progression, combat, travel, and the steady tension between mortal limits and a far greater goal. Its fifth-season label also makes prior familiarity valuable, since newcomers may have a large amount of established material to catch up on before this chapter can fully land.
