Anne Shirley

Anne Shirley is a 2025 spring TV adaptation of classic literature, spread across 24 episodes and produced by The Answer Studio. Its 19th-century Canadian setting brings agriculture, adoption, and boarding school life into a character-driven coming-of-age story. The tags also flag body image, giving the series room to approach growing up through personal self-perception as well as social change. Because it is based on a novel, the pacing has space for relationships and daily circumstances to matter, rather than rushing toward a single hook. A 7.8 score suggests a well-regarded watch for viewers drawn to literary adaptations and period settings. Expect a longer, more reflective commitment than a 12-episode comedy, with the emphasis placed firmly on Anne and the people around her.
