Do It Yourself!!

Serufu is a high school girl who loves tinkering, but after an unexpected accident, she finds herself joining her school's DIY club. Animated by Pine Jam, this 12-episode 2022 slice-of-life series celebrates the joy of making things with your own hands. With a solid 7.6 score, the show trades high-stakes drama for the simple, satisfying process of building birdhouses, repairing furniture, and forging lasting friendships. The narrative thrives on a color-coded cast of eccentric girls, each bringing a unique personality and skill set to the club room. One of the most charming aspects of the production is its use of comedic facial distortion, giving the characters expressive, rubber-like reactions that keep the comedic timing sharp. It is a wholesome, educational journey that highlights the value of community and creativity. Watching this group stumble through early projects and slowly improve offers a relaxing viewing experience defined by heartwarming comedy and absolute earnestness.
