Purple River 2nd Season

With 49 episodes and an ongoing status, Purple River 2nd Season is a substantial 2025 ONA for viewers who enjoy long-form fantasy adventure. Its ancient China setting gives the action a historical flavor, while the fantasy tags point toward a setting shaped by forces beyond ordinary human conflict. The series is built entirely with CG animation, a choice that puts motion, scale, and digital character design at the center of its presentation. Build Dream handles the production, and the Chinese animation label places it within a growing animation tradition that may feel distinct from Japanese TV anime. As a work based on a novel, it has room for a broad cast and sustained story momentum. Its 7.9 score suggests a solid reception, especially for viewers comfortable with extended adventures and a fully digital visual style.
