Xian Ni

With 180 episodes and an ongoing status, Xian Ni asks for a longer commitment than a typical seasonal anime. This 2023 ONA from Build Dream is a Chinese production based on a web novel, presented through 3D CG animation and built around action and adventure. Its anti-hero tag suggests a lead whose choices may resist the clean moral shape found in more straightforward heroic stories. The large episode count gives the series room for an extended journey, while the continuing release means its story is not yet a finished package. An 8.5 score points to a strong reception among viewers already comfortable with the format and its style. The CG presentation is central to the viewing experience: expect a digitally rendered look rather than hand-drawn TV animation. Xian Ni suits patient viewers who enjoy expansive serial storytelling and do not mind settling into a long-running commitment.
