Taiho Shichau zo: Second Season

Cars, coworkers, and comic police action drive Taiho Shichau zo: Second Season, a 26-episode TV series produced by Studio Deen in spring 2001. As a sequel season based on a manga, it is aimed at viewers who enjoy returning to an established cast rather than starting with a self-contained premise. The adult cast gives the workplace comedy a different flavor from school-centered anime, while cops, car chases, and action provide regular momentum. An amusement-park visit and an Asia-related setting tag hint at episodes that can shift away from routine patrols without abandoning the series’ playful tone. With a 7.5 score, it offers a solid pick for fans of older action comedies, especially those who like professional partners trading jokes between bursts of pursuit. Newcomers may still find the format accessible, though the second-season label makes prior familiarity worth considering.
