Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! 5

Short episodes and an episodic format make Ani ni Tsukeru Kusuri wa Nai! 5 a quick visit with a family that rarely gets a quiet moment. Released as a 12-episode ONA in 2022, this Chinese animation production has Japanese production involvement and draws from a webtoon. Its comedy comes with several distinct ingredients: family life, basketball, and a female protagonist, alongside a bisexual character tag that adds to the series' range of everyday perspectives. The small-scale setup suits viewers who prefer punchy sketches and recurring character chemistry over a single plot that demands constant attention. At a 7.5 score, it has a solid reception among its audience. The fifth entry also assumes you may already know the show's comic rhythm, but the brief episode length and self-contained design make sampling it fairly painless if you are new to the franchise.
