Bleach: Sennen Kessen-hen

The 2022 return of Bleach arrives as a compact 13-episode TV season, finished and carrying an 8.8 score. Produced by Pierrot, Sennen Kessen-hen is aimed at viewers comfortable with a manga-based action series that mixes adventure with afterlife mythology, angels, named attacks, and flashes of comedy. Its tags also warn of a harsher edge: body horror sits beside the familiar battle-show spectacle, while CGI may shape parts of the presentation. The inclusion of canon filler suggests a season with material tied closely to the source while still allowing some breathing room beyond straight combat progression. As an entry in a larger Bleach story, it is best approached with franchise context, especially if you want the returning cast and ongoing conflicts to land properly. For established fans, the short season offers a focused burst of supernatural battles; newcomers may find the accumulated mythology harder to absorb.
