Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi

A ninja and an assassin make an immediately odd pairing in this 2025 TV comedy, where action, absurdist humour, and adventure share space with stranger ideas such as afterlife, age regression, and artificial intelligence. The 12-episode series appears built around contrast: lethal professions against playful timing, serious action against deliberately skewed comedy, and character identities that can change in unexpected ways. Its alternating animation style gives the production another source of surprise, while the association with Shaft points toward a visually distinctive presentation rather than a plain action format. With a 7.5 score, this finished spring series looks best suited to viewers who enjoy anime that keeps changing its rhythm. Expect a compact watch with anti-hero energy, assassin-focused conflict, and a duo dynamic that carries much of the appeal. The unusual tag mix suggests a show happiest when genre boundaries start bumping into each other.
