Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari

Sometimes a quiet alleyway is all you need to find a genuine connection. Produced by Asahi Production and slated for a Spring 2026 release, Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari delivers a charming take on the everyday lives of two very different people. This twelve-episode seinen ONA adapts a popular romantic comedy premise with a relaxed pace, utilizing half-length episodes to explore the developing bond between a tired office worker and a younger woman. Their relationship centers around a simple routine of sharing smoke breaks behind a supermarket. The age gap dynamic is handled with a slice-of-life sensibility rather than unnecessary melodrama, focusing instead on the comfort they find in each other's company after exhausting days. Scoring an impressive 8.4, the series trades high-stakes drama for the simple pleasure of shared solitude. It captures the specific atmosphere of blowing off steam after work, presenting a character-driven narrative that feels both grounded and refreshingly low-key.
