Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai

Bright clubroom comedy gives Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai an inviting starting point, while its 13 episodes gradually make room for first love and coming-of-age drama. The 2018 spring TV series follows a female protagonist within an ensemble cast, using the club setting to create a social rhythm beyond the central boy-meets-girl pairing. Comedy keeps the early experience light, but the tags also point toward emotional complications, a damsel-in-distress setup, and the uncertainty that comes with growing up. Doga Kobo’s production supports a polished romantic-comedy presentation, and the show’s 7.6 score reflects its appeal to viewers who like warmth with a more serious turn. It works best as a compact character story: approachable at first, then increasingly interested in how friendship, first love, and personal change affect a group of young people.
