About Tegamibachi Reverse
A boy with no memory of his past boards a transport headed for a world swallowed by artificial night. That is the starting point for this 2010 Studio Pierrot production, co-animated with St. Signpost, which ran for twenty-five episodes as the second adaptation arc of Hiromu Arakawa-adjacent fantasy manga material. The setting is an alternate world where the sun has been replaced by an artificial celestial body, and specialized postal workers known as Letter Bees risk life and limb delivering messages across monster-haunted wastelands. Action and adventure frame each delivery-of-the-week structure, while comedy and animal companions soften the angst that builds around the protagonist's amnesia and his search for a lost friend. Attack-calling and name-shouting rituals give the combat a warmly familiar shonen rhythm. A 7.7 community score reflects a show that fans of earnest, character-forward fantasy tend to cherish quietly rather than shout about.
