Ooi! Tonbo 2nd Season

Golf on a tropical island might sound like a vacation pitch, but this second season keeps its focus on something more personal — a young girl's growth through sport. Picking up where the first cour left off, the 13 new episodes follow Tonbo, who grew up on an isolated island and learned an unconventional style of golf from her late grandfather. The disability tag carries weight here, as the narrative handles physical and emotional challenges with a tenderness characteristic of iyashi-kei storytelling. OLM brings a clean, grounded visual approach that suits the daily-life pacing — no flashy transformations, just wind through palm trees and the quiet concentration before a swing. Coming-of-age beats ring true because Tonbo's skill develops alongside her understanding of loss, community, and ambition. A 7.5 score suggests a series that earns its audience through warmth rather than spectacle. With each round of golf, the show asks what it means to carry someone's teachings forward.
