Uchouten Kazoku 2

Uchouten Kazoku 2 returns with a distinctly odd blend of comedy, melancholy, and animal transformation. This finished 2017 Spring TV season runs for 12 episodes, giving its strange anthropomorphic cast room to turn everyday trouble into escalating collateral damage. The series is based on a novel and comes from P.A. Works, whose production gives the material a polished, expressive feel. Alcohol, animals, and coming-of-age tension sit side by side here, so the tone can shift from playful mischief to more reflective character moments without losing its identity. A score of 8.0 suggests a well-regarded continuation rather than a disposable sequel. Newcomers should expect a show that values mood and eccentric personalities as much as straightforward momentum. If you enjoy stories where human behavior is refracted through animal traits and social chaos, this 12-episode season offers a compact, distinctive watch.
